When opening new accounts, the USA Patriot Act of 2001 required financial institutions to take extra steps to prevent fraud, identity theft and the spread of terrorism. It requires us to obtain more information from an individual or legal entity to help establish identity.

This means that, when you open an account, we may ask for your date of birth, address, driver’s license or other identifying documents to confirm your identity.

Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated as we take the appropriate measures to ensure compliance with this important regulation.
